Enhancements to Remote Learning 2.0

This week we made further enhancements to Remote Learning 2.0 by opening up Live Rooms for students to have teacher support to work through their set learning tasks. These are optional Meets to support families where parents may be working from home, or help students to have assistance with tasks and they have been well attended across the school.

We also opened up Drop-in Rooms, where students can access a teacher from their level to ask them any questions they may have about their learning. These are also the best rooms to use if your child misses the start of the lesson in the Live Room.

All whole class meets now start at 9am, having consistency across the school to help families get into routines for remote learning 2.0.

Friyay Funday

This week is Science week and Mrs Kitching and her team have planned a whole lot of Science Challenges for you to complete as part of Friyay Funday. Check out your level’s website page for a range of fun activities to try at home tomorrow.

Next week Christian, Carol and I are hosting Friday’s Activities. The theme for next week is Around the World. There will be a quiz and lots of optional activities for students to engage in, to learn about different cultures.
