Year 7 Food Technology

Thursday saw Year 7A attend their first Food Technology session since the return to school after the period of remote teaching and learning. Students were introduced to the additional procedures required of them to keep Mrs Bailey and Mrs Morley safe in the classroom and kitchen. Benches allocated, exploring what was stored in each cupboard and drawer, demonstrating safe and hygienic practices at all times, and producing the menu of pocket pitas and a fruit cone were just some of the features of their lesson. What a busy lesson it was! I was impressed with the students' skill level and willingness to work as a team and assist their peers.
