Outside School Hours Care

Welcome back

Welcome back
Welcome back

A big welcome back from all of us.

The OSHC is implementing risk-mitigation strategies using updated information from both local and state government departments on physical distancing and transmission reduction. Although our philosophy is to welcome everyone to the service, it’s regrettable that we ask all parents to remain outside the facility as Educators ready your children to collect their personal effects and meet you at the door.

Communication can be made via email. The “out of office” responder is on and is used to convey important messages from the service to you.  Please ensure you read the information.

We look forward to the time when we see you again. Meanwhile let’s count our blessings, share laugher and moments of wonderment.

Resilience

Last month staff took the opportunity to “up skill” and engage in “Be you” professional learning modules. This helped Educators affirm the importance of social, emotional learning and resilience that enables them to talk to children about natural disasters, traumatic events, COVID-19 or worries about the future.

The Educators and students have developed a fun display of their learning; Meet the COVID- squad- who chase viruses away and promote strategies for children to take care of themselves. Children have enjoyed colouring viruses, making COVID police squad badges and creating Lego COVID-19!
