Get set everyone - it's XC time - virtual style!

Covid-19 may have stopped our annual Inter-House Cross Country from happening in Week 1 of this term, but we’ve found a great alternative that’s ISO friendly!

All students, parents & staff at St. Finbar’s will have the chance to run a ‘Virtual Cross Country’ from now until the end of August.  Run once, run weekly – it’s your choice!

What is it?

The Great Australian Cross Country Challenge allows students to run their own races but lodge their times online to a website. They record their run or walk through any GPS application. The GACCC recommend you download the RunKeeper FREE App.

Check your time against other students of your age around Australia (& your mates)

Students run for their House and a House winner will be determined

Run any course that suits you!  Around your local park, bush track, along the beach, around the block.

Distances

Prep, 1’s & 2’s     1km

Year 3 – 6’s           2km

Staff & parents    1km - 5km choice
