Return to School Stage 1: Welcome Back to our Prep-2 Families

On Tuesday we welcomed back our Year Prep-2 families and I have never seen so many children literally skipping into the school grounds on their return to school.

Our children settled back into routine seamlessly and enjoyed having their teacher 'present in the real world.'

A few reminders.... 

1. On direction from the Chief Medical Officer, children will not be able to drink from the drink taps. Each child MUST have his/her own water bottle. They can use the classroom taps to re-fill when necessary. Please make sure these are labelled.

2. As previously stated the NORMAL timetable for students is being followed. Students are to wear their full WINTER school inform and are to wear their SPORTS uniform (2 days per week) on days where they are scheduled for Physical Education as follows: 

Year Prep: Wednesday and Thursday

Year 1/2Z Monday and Tuesday

Year 1/2 B: Tuesday and Wednesday

Year 1/2C: Tuesday and Wednesday

Year 3/4: Monday and Tuesday

Year 5/6: Thursday and Friday

I'm sure we will all be back into this routine promptly.

Return to School Plan Phase 2    

Our Year 3-6 children will continue to learn from home and will return to school on Tuesday 9th June. Staff will be adjusting programs  and work tasks with an emphasis on transitioning back to school. You will  notice that the  'virtual program' will gradually extend to include the afternoon sessions to get our children back into routine.

Once a year level has returned, all students will be expected to attend school as normal. This means if you choose to keep your child/children home after their year level has returned to onsite schooling, we can no longer support their learning from home.

Uniforms

As we have commenced our return to school our uniform stock has taken a hit so I encourage Year 3-6 families to submit an order via email so that we can order in advance. An order form is attached below. Simply email your requirements to:

Upon return to school you should be able to simply pay and collect. Just like 'click and collect'!

Lunch Orders

Please note there will be NO lunch orders until further notice.

ABC music

Our ABC Guitar and Keyboard Program will recommence on Wednesday 10th June and will continue every Monday and Wednesday thereafter. 

Assemblies

Even with various cohorts of children back at school, we will continue to run our successful e-Assemblies until further notice so hope to see you all again next Monday.
