With all our time now being spent at home due to isolation rules, we have all had to find different ways to keep up our fitness. Normally I would be out four nights a week with football and netball.

Creativity has been the key for this! We recently purchased an exercise bike to help keep me active while competing against others at home. The good thing about the exercise bike,

it is located in front of the TV so I can watch and ride at the same time!

To keep routine while teaching from home, I made it a goal to get up every morning at the normal time and walk instead of my morning drive to school. My dog has never been on so many frosty morning walks!

The virtual cross country has been a massive help in keeping motivation and helping me push myself for when football returns this year. Best part about the virtual cross country is competing against everyone and kicking your butts!

We all know that is it hard to be motivated when it’s cold, but the best thing is to create a routine or a goal and stick to it! You will thank yourself down the track.
