2018 Visual Art Perspectives Exhibition
On Monday 8 April the Year 11 and Year 12 Visual Arts students enjoyed the morning viewing the best artworks from last year’s Art students from around Western Australia. On exhibition until July 22, these artworks represent the scope and breadth of ideas and techniques used by other senior art students. Various themes from personal and political issues, to cultural identity and gender issues provided an insightful look at the world through the minds of the young student artists.
This was an enlightening excursion that provided the boys with a realistic reference as to the level of skills and creativity expected in upper school Art. It allowed them to critique other student artworks and discuss their likes and dislikes amongst themselves. Thanks to all the boys who attended for their behaviour and positive way in which they represented the College.
