French Cultural Day

Whole School French Cultural Day

We are excited that our second Whole-School French Cultural Day is fast approaching. On Thursday September 19th (2nd last day of school) all students and staff will be involved in activities All-Things-French for the day, including Art and Craft, Incursions, Sport, Dance etc

Here are a few things to keep in mind leading up to the day:

  1. Poster Competition -  Students are encouraged to make an A3 size poster of anything French themed. They can hand this poster in any time prior to the day or by 9:00am on the day to one of the French teachers or to the Front Office, and the authors of the posters judged the best on the day will receive a prize at our assembly. Please make sure students put their name and grade on the poster.
  2. Dress Up - students are encouraged to wear all things French on the day so start planning your outfits. There will be a prize for the best dressed in each grade level. Roaming judges will be out and about on the day.
  3. Assembly - The Cultural Day will end with a whole-school assembly from 2:45 - 3:30pm in the MPR which parents are welcome to attend.
  4. Special Snack -  There will be an optional Special Snack on the day.  Students bring a ‘normal’ lunch and the canteen will run a regular lunch service that day.

Merci !
