Rev's Review

The cold has hit with the bitter reality that Winter is nearly upon us. Those who know me, will know I despise Summer with my whole being. Autumn and Winter are my preferences. But the seasons are set to remind us that life is a cycle. There is always going to be the promise of new life after the bleak Winter. We live a new life each day. I am reminded of an extract from a prayer ‘Lord it is Night’
It is night after a long day.
What has been done has been done;
what has not been done has not been done;
let it be.

It is very important that we take a step back from our day. The above prayer is so true. Sometimes we have to let things just BE. This ‘BEING’ is a time for reflection and if you can not do, don’t.

The services are age appropriate and go for approximately half and hour. Parents, Carers and siblings are welcome to come along. You are always invited to be part of the Anglican Tradition of Cobram Anglican Grammar School. You do not have to be a church goer, or have any faith at this time, you may be from another faith tradition, please know you are always welcome.
First Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be on Saturday the 20th of July.
The Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation, will be celebrated on Sunday the 21st July, at 10am at St Margaret’s Church.
If you would like your child to receive the Sacraments, please do not hesitate to contact me. As students will be learning and completing activities in the classroom during RAVE about the Sacraments, there will only be the need to meet once or twice before hand. No out of school lessons. The only requirement is the student is Baptised. This can be arranged. A parent meeting will be held for you to ask any questions and for me to walk you and your child through what will transpire. Look forward to hearing from you.
