The school library is a wonderful hub of learning and discovery where all students are welcome.

Other than offering books, computers and resources, the library is a safe space where students are encouraged to think, create and share information with their friends. Respect for other library users and the resources is something we value at our College.

Book Recommendations:

Keeper of the Lost Cities

by Shannon Messenger (Find me in the Fantasy section).

Sophie is a twelve-year-old mind-reading genius with a photographic memory – and also it seems an elf!  She has been hidden in the human world for her own protection and now needs to leave her human family behind to embrace her new life in this new world. However, she still has secrets and her true identity is yet to be revealed …

This book is the first in a powerful new series and is thoroughly recommended!

Wonder

by R J Palacio (Find me in the Contemporary/ Modern Day/ Realistic section)

The acclaimed book about kindness and difference that everyone should read.

Auggie is a 10-year-old boy with a terrible facial abnormality who just wants to be treated like the normal person he is. After being homeschooled, this is the story of his first year at school and the friends he finds there. Funny, sad, warm and ultimately uplifting!

We look forward to seeing you in the library soon! Come and find the perfect book for you.
