The year 3 and 4 students have enjoyed cooking up a storm with all the vegetables they have been harvesting from our garden.
This week we will be harvesting the last of our Summer vegetables and enjoy creating a Mexican feast
Some of the vegetables the students will harvest for their lunch will be:
- Tomatoes
- Chilli
- Corn
- Capsicums
- Parsley
- Mint
- Spring onions
The menu will be:
- Soft shell tacos
- Deconstructed guacamole
- Corn and capsicum salsa
- Mexican inspired salad
Market Stall!
The students have also been busy making jam from the fruits form our garden. We will be hosting a Market stall on Tuesday 30/3/21 at 3.30 pm. We will be near the music room.
Some of the produce we will be selling will be:
- Assorted jams and relishes
- Seed packets
- Lavosh
- Herb posies
Most items will be made by our year 3&4 Students.
We hope to see you there. Please bring a gold coin donation.
All sales will be for the kitchen garden program and also for the Sacred Heart Mission.
