Easter holiday reading and guessing competition!
Students and staff were encouraged to borrow a book for the holidays and then have a guess at how many chocolate treats were in the container. The winner will be notified at the end of lunchtime on Thursday.
Reading Shakespeare stories for enjoyment
New to our library is the series introducing students to Shakespeare’s most famous stories. You are never too old or too young.
The Premier's Reading Challenge 2021
The Premier's Reading Challenge (PRC) is for students from K-10. It starts on Monday 1 March and finishes on Friday 20 August. Sign-on details will come through the English classes.
Our updated 2021 lists of PRC books are now in our Oliver Library System.
To access these lists you will need to:
- Log into Oliver using your College email and password
- Select Reading Lists from the top tabs
- Scroll down the lists to the Premier's Reading Challenge 2021
- Click on the black cross
- Select the lists you wish to view.
Favourite Book Character
Last month we invited students and staff to vote for their favourite book character. The results are in. The current favourite book character as voted by our students is Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This activity generated much discussion. Thank you to all who voted.
