Principal News

This time last year our world changed.  April 2020 saw the start of the phenomena called COVID 19 that shook our existence.  We entered new challenges and learnt amazing new skills.  The two most important lessons were definitely patience and kindness.

Now 12 months down the track, we may not be fully 'out of the COVID woods' but we are definitely wiser and more resilient.

May this Easter be saturated with love and chocolate eggs a plenty.

Happy Easter.

We have had an increase of students who are using the school grounds after hours for 'evil' not 'good'.

It has been reported that some of these people are past students, siblings of current students and/or friends/associates that are locals.

I know that you are thinking "this cannot possibly be my child".

There is also gloating on social media eg. snapchat etc... about their antics.

After hours the cleaners are reporting students with push bikes, on top of the shade sails in the playground and jumping on the sails.  Can you believe it?  Those shade sails cost a large amount of money, raised by the CSPS community.  I need your help.

Ask your children where they are and what they are up to.

It is terrific to hear joy and fun in the playground after hours but not if it is going to be at a cost to the school.

As some of you that frequent our school dropping off or picking up the students, we are experiencing a wasp situation with one particular tree outside the Gallery.

We have had the wasp experts out to the school and there is no wasp nest to remove.  The wasps are attracted to this particular tree, eating the contents.  The wasps will remain until the contents are all eaten.

As a result, we unfortunately need to remove the tree during the holidays.

We will explore different types of plants to replace this tree ASAP.
