PERFORMING ARTS DATES FOR YOUR CALENDAR

 

Year 11 and 12 Drama Ensemble performance evening

Students were presented with the following prompts for their work:

 

Year 11: It is 2025. A group of school children are preparing to protest at a rally: children are being threatened with a ban on freedom of speech. They plan to storm the rally and are determined to share what children are really capable of and why the government needs to reverse this decision. 

 

Year 12: “Optimism” The ensemble group find themselves in the world of a Dr. Suess Book, written to share the importance of optimism. Looking at how we face adversity through hope.

  

When: Monday 17th of May at 6.30pm

Where: Robinson Centre Theatre at Ballarat High School

The Year 12 Theatre Studies class of 2021 presents

CUT SNAKE

The show: Kiki, Bob and Jumper are best friends with big dreams. Kiki wants to dance the tango on Mount Kilimanjaro with a bearded lady, Jumper is in love with a snake called Trix, while Bob’s just an ordinary bloke who holds the key to time travel. Join them for the wild ride. 

 

When: Friday 28th of May at 7pm

Where: Robinson Centre Theatre at Ballarat High School
