SSV State Lawn Bowls Team

During Term 2 school holidays, myself and many other students from within Victoria went down to Sunbury and tried out for the SSV State Lawn Bowls Team. 

The day was long consisting of many drills and game play throughout. Around 30 people tried out for the squad and the final team is composed of 15 people plus two subs, myself and Josh Cartwright were lucky enough to make the actual playing squad. 

We are now preparing to compete in the School Sport Australia 18 and under National Bowls Championship in Tweed Heads during mid-September. 

Congratulations to Hayley Hancock, Jorjia Ponton and Jacob Cartright who earlier won the State Championships.
