Grade 1 & 2KS

During Religion, the students have been exploring the concept of the gifts that God has bestowed upon them. They've learned how these gifts can be shared with others and how they play a vital role in building and nurturing meaningful relationships.

They began with the students engaging in self-reflection to identify their own unique gifts and talents. They then took part in a heartwarming exercise where they openly celebrated and acknowledged the gifts of their classmates.

We collectively identified key words and phrases about each gift. These will be displayed on our word wall, serving as a constant reminder of the wonderful qualities that make each student special.

In addition to the word wall, we are encouraging the students to create personal statements that showcase their individual gifts and talents. These statements will be a testament to their uniqueness and strengths, instilling a sense of pride and confidence in themselves.

This understanding helps the students understand personal strengths; it encourages empathy, gratitude, and a sense of community among the students.
