Foundation

On Wednesday we celebrated the Foundation students and their 100th day of school. In these 100 days the students have grown so much and have developed some base skills that will support them through the primary school journey. Each student made a crown, played keepy uppy and bobs and statues, sang and moved while counting to 100, and took home a party bag. The students were able to continue the excitement and celebrate with specialists and their teachers.

We have been fortunate in the last two weeks to have a few different people come into the school to talk to the Foundation students. We had Kristy who spoke to the whole school about responsible pet ownership and safety. It was a good introduction to how to interact with pets that we are unfamiliar with. We also had two parents, Shane (electrician) and Chelsie (dairy farmer), come speak to the Foundation students about being experts in their field. We have been exploring experts in inquiry and have loved learning from people in our community.
