150 Celebrations

We’ve had another busy week in terms of preparing for the 150 celebrations.  The campaign to gather memorabilia is going well, with a steady stream of new material being either shared or found. 

We can now confirm there will be a function on the Friday night (Sept 1) and another gathering on the Saturday morning, providing more opportunities for people to catch up and share memories.  The details for these gatherings will be shared as details are sorted.

An application was submitted to the Community Bank this week, seeking financial support to make the celebrations a significant community event.  The Community Bank have been generous in the past and I’m sure they’ll appreciate the significance of the occasion and will help us out again.
