International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS)

Students who are performing 12 months or more ahead in Reading, Writing, Maths, Digital Technologies and Science based on their mid-year report results have been invited to participate in the upcoming ICAS competitions in August/September.

ICAS is a wonderful opportunity for our high ability students to participate in a competition and be acknowledged for their academic abilities beyond the school community.  We wish all of our competitors the best of luck and look forward to celebrating and sharing student results with our school community later in the year, once  we have received results.

Further information regarding ICAS can be found here https://www.icasassessments.com/

Bulldogs Read Program Update

Game day experience- students have the opportunity to access free tickets for themselves and a family member for the Bulldogs game on July 29th against GWS at Mars Stadium, here in Ballarat. It is anticipated that this game is likely to be an action-packed thriller, so our students are very fortunate to be able to attend.  We look forward to sharing more about their experience in a couple of weeks.

Colouring competition- there is a colouring competition being held by the Ballarat Bulldogs staff with the winning class receiving 20 free tickets to the above mentioned game in Ballarat on 29th July. For further details or a copy of the colouring competition, please speak to your child’s classroom teacher or one of the office staff members.
