Stage 1

A message from Stage 1

Welcome to Term 3. This term we are looking forward to showcasing our learning during Education Week, participating in gymnastics at the gym centre and dressing up for Book Week. Please look for notifications on School Stream.

Home reading is an important part of supporting what happens in the classroom, please find some time each day to listen to your child read. For students reading decodable readers, discuss new sounds and words. You can check your child's understanding of more challenging texts by asking some questions about the text, storyline and characters. Please note that for Term 3, library day and return of home readers to your class teacher has changed for S1B and S1M.

S1B – Friday

S1M – Wednesday
