Great Western Water Poster Competition

We’re excited to announce this year’s National Water Week poster competition is now open! This year’s theme 'United by Water' highlights the important role water plays in bringing individuals and communities together. Your school or centre is invited to take part in the poster competition. The competition is open to all primary school students and early learning or kindergarten children.

There are 15 prizes up for grabs across five categories that cover a range of ages and abilities, including a new category for our younger artists in the early learning or kindergarten age group. There's also a $500 prize for a sustainability project. It’s easier than ever to enter! Simply upload your posters to the new online portal. Entries close at 5pm on Friday 1 September. Winners will be announced during National Water Week, from 16 to 22 October. Get creative! Design, draw or paint a poster that demonstrates how we are all United by Water.

Young Voices of Macedon

Young Voices of Macedon is currently preparing for their annual concert in September. Our older singers (9+) are also commencing work on Sea dreaming by Elena Kats-Chernin, a substantial work that was first performed by a massed choir of children at the opening of the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000. In 2 performances in Bendigo on 25th and 26th November our choir will join with the Bendigo Youth Choir and choirs from Girton College, along with the Bendigo Symphony Orchestra in what promises to be an exciting and memorable experience.
