International Student Program
New last minute arrivals
We have welcomed another two new students who arrived at the last minute (as late as last Thursday!). They packed and booked the airline tickets within 2 days once their visas were granted, as they did not want any delays in commencing their studies. Now we have 28 students enrolled in our mainstream courses from Year 7 to 12. We also have 14 students (including 2 local students) in our Intensive Language Course (ILC).
Please enjoy some pictures which showcase how our new students have settled into the school community through activities such as:
- ILC students interviewing our Year 9 SEAL Class
- Tasting Australian snacks
- One on one support sessions with our pre-service teachers
Congratulations to our Year 11 international student Fu (Roy) Zhu
Roy flew to Perth in May to participate in a special examination entitled Advanced Placement (AP). This is a program created by the College Board. AP offers university-level undergraduate curricula and examinations to high school students. Roy received an A for all 5 of his scores, which is an extremely impressive achievement. Well done Roy! We wish Roy all the best for his 2024 VCE studies.
