Online Music Lessons

We have been incredibly proud of our Music students and their Tutors for their collaborative efforts with online lessons via Teams. Thank you to all involved – we welcome any feedback arising from this period of implementation.

With many students returning to campus, many Music Lessons will revert to face-to-face lessons in coming days. There will continue to be delivery of online lessons for students learning from home, as well as some instances of Tutors teaching remotely. Students who are receiving lessons from a remote Tutor should see Ms Gratton in the Music Office just prior to their lesson with their device, when a suitable room for your lesson will be allocated.

Ensemble Rehearsals

Information regarding the recommencement of some ensemble rehearsals will be released by ensemble directors in coming days, and may differ between groups. Discussions are ongoing and we appreciate everyone’s patience in this regard.

String Ensembles

Please note that Chamber Orchestra, String Orchestra and Mini Minors have permanently moved to the Osborne Room for their rehearsals. This larger rehearsal space will allow for ease of appropriate distancing, when rehearsals resume.
