CODE CLUB
Code starts in A3 on Monday 5 February. Mr Munro will be running this club every Monday lunchtime so come along and improve your coding skills.
WEB COMP
Grok Learning will be running their annual Web Competition starting on 26 February. For the seasoned competitors, you will likely find that you get instant access. For those new to Grok Learning, email Mrs Munro to find out more about this competition. The competition runs for five weeks and, whilst it demands a lot of commitment and effort, it is enormously rewarding. TEST DRIVEN DEVELOPMENT
When writing any computer program, one of the most important stages is testing. Programmers will test their programs rigorously to ensure that it is achieving its purpose. It is quite common for beta versions of computer programs to be released. This allows the programmer to get lots of other people to test the product and give feedback before a final release.
The article below has a new approach to Testing - Test Driven Development. This encourages developers to “write tests of their code before actually writing the code itself”.
