Robotics MAP

New resources have arrived for our students, we now have 12 LEGO robotics kits for our program! Students are busily putting the kits together as well as designing innovative programs using the Mindstorms software. Aaron’s group (SASS) has programed their robot to move around a track and has an inbuilt colour calculator. The colour sensor of the robot detects certain colours. Each colour has a different value and the robot adds these up, according to the colours it senses.

Peter, Will, Tighe and Aniq designed their robot to travel through a complex maze. They had to program their robot to do turns and reverse! Thanks to Mr Foley and Mr Warrington for all of their hard work assisting our students to develop their coding skills.
