Open Night - 28 March 2017

You're Invited!

Open Night at St Luke's is an opportunity to showcase the unique setting and contemporary learning environment inherent in our distinctive Catholic learning community.

Education is much more than results at the end of the St Luke’s 15 year learning journey. Through our Catholic faith based approach to learning, St Luke's Catholic College strives to support students to become young adults who can recognise, have access to, and take up opportunities that will grow them as compassionate people with integrity and moral strength to make right and just decisions. We do this by ‘Living the Good News’ as revealed through the Gospel of St Luke.

At St Luke’s, we actively encourage families who understand and support the Christian values and the culture behind St Luke’s commitment to nurture faith filled, curious children grow to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world to attend Open Night.

We have commenced our commitment to this vision this year with students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Extending upon this promising start, in 2018, St Luke’s will provide learning opportunities for:

3 and 4 year old students in our Catholic Early Learning Centre (CELC)

5 to 12 year olds in Primary school.

13 to 14 year olds for Years 7 and 8.

These ‘next steps’ in our growing story will ultimately see St Luke’s achieve its aim of establishing the ‘new normal’ for preschool to post school learning.

Although only in our first year, a strong sense of identity, purpose and confidence has quickly evolved. As we grow, we seek to be true to the best ideals that have shaped Catholic education in Western Sydney and also be alert to the lessons of research and the learning from experience.

In opening our College to the wider community, we acknowledge St Luke's Catholic College:
