COVID-19 PREVENTION
Managing COVID-19 risks is a daily challenge here at school and we ask for your support in helping to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Students must wear masks in indoor settings and on public transport. Please send your child to school with a mask.
You can also assist by utilising the Rapid Antigen Tests supplied to all families.
We ask that children and staff are tested twice a week. There may be times, such as today's Year 7 Camp departure, where we will suggest that students are tested to try to ensure anyone who is unwell does not inadvertantly spread the disease at these larger school-based activities.
You will notice we are advising families of positive cases here at school via email as we become aware of them. We want all families to be aware so they can take precautions, monitor for symptoms and test regularly.
We thank you for your support and vigilance. To date we have had some positive cases reported, but not enough to disrupt broad areas of the school and we will continue to monitor and manage this on a day-to-day basis.
The following guidelines will assist you should your child potentially be exposed to the disease, or should your testing uncover a positive result:

If your child returns a positive result, you must:
Everyone in your household is a close contact and must isolate for 7 days unless they are covered by a workplace exemption as per the Victorian Government guidelines.
Reporting your child’s positive test
If your child was at school when they were infectious you need to report the positive case to the school by phone.
You must also report your child’s positive test to the Department of Health via the COVID-19 Positive Rapid Antigen Test Self-Reporting Form or call centre on 1800 675 398.
