St Mels Feast Day
Happy St. Mel's Feast Day ~ 6th February
We celebrated St. Mel's Feast Day at school today. It looked a little different from other years, as we are still unable to gather as a whole school community. However, we did our best to celebrate as best we could.
Fr Peter joined us for a prayer liturgy online and we were able to create our own prayer spaces in each of our units, while we were online together.
We then created a jigsaw in our spaces. Every child and staff member made their mark on a jigsaw piece and to represent us all being a part of one amazing Education Community we will put the pieces of the puzzle together and display this in our school.
We can't wait to be able to gather physically together but until then this puzzle will represent our community spirit, which is always so strong.
Of course, we finished our celebration with a little treat. Hope you enjoy these photos of our wonderful celebration. We can't wait until we can have parents and families a part of these celebrations again.
