Word it out

Everyday in the library a new edition of 'word it out' is written up for all students to contribute too. Word it out is the 9 letter word game (sourced from the Herald Sun). Students all wrack their brains to work out the 9 letter word and have a lot of fun guessing the rest. Dictionaries have never been so popular and it's great to see the camaraderie, joy and debating that goes on as they discuss what words they can make.

Teachers are also enjoying the challenge, I think this activity is a keeper!

Information for parents/carers

If you are wanting to watch a movie rated M or over and are worried about the content, you can jump onto the IMDb website and look at the Parents Guide.

It details what the 'M' rating content involves as you can see with the example below with Forest Gump.

This might help avoid the 'cringe worthy' moments some M rated movies have and make movie nights more enjoyable for all.
