The College has been lucky to secure some funding to enable a group of 24 students from Years 9-12 to spend a day recording at Studio 52 in Collingwood on Friday 31 August.

Students will learn the many aspects of studio recording and producing a six-track EP, including the recording, CD Artwork and writing text for the insert. The finished product will be launched in the Chapel and Performing Arts Centre foyer on Wednesday 19 September with performances, finger food and the finished CD on sale for $10 each.

Auditions will be held next week for this year’s College Play, the stage adaptation of the classic novel, The Diary of Anne Frank. A cast of around 15 will be required to bring this moving story to the stage in October. Rehearsals will commence on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons once musical ends.
