Thalgarrah - Year 3 Excursion

On Tuesday, 18 June, Year 3 travelled to the Thalgarrah Environmental Education Centre and took part in some very interesting and educational activities. 

 

The potatoes were my favourite part of the day. - Liam

My favourite part of the day was going to the creek and drawing the scar tree with charcoal. - Angus

I liked how we got to explore and go on an adventure. I loved drawing with charcoal. - Bronte

My favourite part of the day was making a story on the iPads and going to the creek. - Sam

My favourite part was when we went on a bush walk with Jules. We learned about poo and it is called scat. - Tilly

I liked how we collected sticks and made a fire. We cooked potatoes and one almost was on fire! - Eve

 

Visual Art

Students are eagerly working on and completing their 3D visual art project. These will be assessed and displayed before they are taken home this week. The creativity and enthusiasm displayed by the students are amazing. Thank you, parents and guardians, for the support.

 

We hope that all of Year 3 have a restful, relaxing and safe holiday. Please remember to restock pencil cases and continue to read, read, read!! We will see you all next term for another exciting term of learning!
