CHRISTMAS CAROLS 2022

Dear Families,

Our annual Christmas Carols evening is on

Thursday December 8th commencing at 7.00pm.

Our Carols Night is a great tradition here at Our Lady’s.

This evening  provides the children, their families,

the OLHC community and teachers the opportunity to come together

to celebrate Christmas and the end of the school year.

  • Please have your child at school and with their teacher by 6.45pm for a 7:00pm sharp start for the evening.
  • There will be a PFOL fundraising barbecue from 6.00-6.45pm available for you to enjoy.
  • There will also be a cake stall fundraiser led by the Year 5 FIRE Carrier Leaders to support Opening the Doors Foundation. (We would appreciate any donations)
  • The children will remain with their teachers. You will pick up your child from their teacher at the conclusion of the evening.  This will be around 8:30 pm. Unless your child’s teacher asks for a specific costume the children are asked to come dressed in Christmas colours, i.e. Red, White, Green.  They may wear tinsel hats etc. (anything “Christmassy”).  Please NO coloured hairspray, thank you.
  • It is hoped that every child will be able to attend, however, if this is not possible, it is important to formally notify your child’s class teacher.
  • B.Y.O. chairs and anything else you think you will need to help you have a great evening – most families bring refreshments and/or a basket dinner.  No Alcohol is permitted at this family event.
  • The Prep-2 children will require a cushion to sit on as they will be sitting on the ground in front of the stage.
  • It is hoped that the children will have eaten before the evening commences. Therefore, they will not need food or drinks during the performances.
  • In the event of inclement weather, the Carols Night will be cancelled. We will notify you as early as possible if this decision needs to be made.
  • At the end of the evening the children will stay in class groups until collected by their parent/carer on the instruction of Mr P.

We all look forward to a great evening!

See you there!
