"Be The Best That You Can Be" - Celebrating Student Wellbeing and

Growth in Learning

Message from the Wellbeing team

The wellbeing team had an incredible year connecting with students and staff in 2022. We’ve enjoyed watching students grow their resilience and confidence over the year and looking forward to building on those connections in 2023.

We would like to congratulate our Year 12 students for all their hard work and making it through the year. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours as they embark on the journey of fulling their aspirations.

We thank all of our staff for their continuous support and making student wellbeing a primary focus this year.

We are excited to be planning for 2023 and look forward to working with students and staff in continuing to promote student wellbeing. Keep an eye on Compass for upcoming wellbeing events in 2023. We welcome any ideas and collaborations from students and staff.

We wish you all a happy, safe and restful end of year holidays.

Looking After Yourself Over the Holidays

As we enter the final stretch of the school year, the last few weeks can be extremely stressful. It is important to be conscious about our mental health and self-care. Here are some tips to look after your mental health:

  • Eat well and exercise regularly
  • Get enough sleep
  • Set aside some time each day to relax
  • Put time into activities and relationships that make you feel good
  • Set yourself short and long-term goals to look forward to
  • Try to deal with problems sooner rather than letting them build up (It OK to ask for help!)
  • Set boundaries around the usage of technology and social media
  • Be aware of how drugs and alcohol can affect your mental health
  • Connect with your family, friends and community.

For further tools and tips:
