VCE Unit 4 Music Performance Recital 

On Wednesday 13 September, VCE Music repertoire students, Renae Bekas and Freya Watters, had the opportunity to perform their repertoire in front of family and friends.

The focus of the VCE Recital is to present the Year 12 VCE Music Performance Unit 4 repertoire for assessment.  Both students will be presenting their performance exams to external examiners on October 7, 2023.

Senior Vocal Soiree

Avah Quinn, Year 10

The Vocal Soiree, held on 23 August, was an excellent way to demonstrate the talent of our School’s vocalists. There was a variety of genres and blends of pieces performed, from catchy and harmonic, to dark and rich, highlighting the effort and dedication of the students. 

My song, 'Pie Jesu', was a difficult and detailed piece that required my full attention and focus. Although the first few weeks of learning the song and its proper techniques were quite challenging, the end result paid off as it allowed me to develop new skills, such as the ability to convey a strong tone and more emotion in songs.

Congratulations to Harper Hu

Harper Hu from the ELC performed the Twinkle variation 'Busy Busy Stop Stop' for the first time to her friends. Harper played all by memory and on her own. Well done Harper!

Star of the week - Ryan Lu

A big congratulations to Ryan Lu, Year 3S, who received an A for his recent AMEB 4th Grade Violin Repertoire exam. Well done Ryan!
