TEACHER PRESENCE

Dear Parents and guardians,

Can you believe that we only have a few weeks left of school for 2022? I just wanted to take this opportunity to remind you about the teachers at Holy Spirit Community School involved and supporting Teacher Presence and the four amazing charities they support. You can see if your child’s teachers are part of Teacher Presence here

Teachers who are registered are asking that if you choose to give a teacher appreciation at the end of the school, you instead, redeploy the money that could be spent on a physical gift through the Teacher Presence platform to one of the four amazing charities supported by Teacher Presence.

As always, giving a teacher gift at the end of the school year is very much optional. Teacher Presence is just an alternative way to say thank you to your child’s teachers. As well as supporting those in need through your kindness and generosity.

Here is a video explaining how Teacher Presence works.

Many thanks for all the support and encouragement from the school community in regards to Teacher Presence.

Regards and thanks,

Andy McKellar and the staff at Holy Spirit Community School

VINNIES CHRISTMAS 2022  HAMPERS & CHILDRENS WISH TREE

We have 81 families on our Christmas Hamper list this year. To help you prepare your hamper a range of suggested items can be found on the back of this letter. Please keep in mind that all food items should be non-perishable and their “best before” dates after December. If you wish to provide gifts specifically for children, age tags can be found on the Gift Wish Tree in the Church Foyer. When packing your hamper please ensure it can be lifted easily by one person if not, please use two containers. Please also remember to attach hamper number tags to each container and do not include your name on any greeting card or tag. You can however write ‘From the Parishes of Holy Spirit, St. Anne & St Gerard if you wish.
