A Visit from the Opera....

Last week, the Prep and 1/2 students were very lucky to have some special guests in the Performing Arts classroom. 

Two VERY talented ladies from our school community, Emily Uhlrich and Kat DiRago, literally blew the students away with their amazing, incredibly powerful, opera voices. 

The Prep and 1/2 students got to learn all about the Opera, experience a live performance, participate in a singing lesson, and of course ask MANY, MANY questions.

The Grade 1/2 students also got to listen to Emily play the violin, and got to have a close look and hold of a real violin.

As you can see in the photographs, the students were VERY impressed, a little shocked and VERY, VERY entertained.
