Womin Djeka Festival...

Dear Parents,

We have been working in partnership with Balnarring Pre-School over the past years and are very proud of all we are doing to ensure our First Nation people are respected and highlighted in our school community.

As a part of our continuing connection with the Bundjil Nest Project, we would like to invite all parents and members of the school community to attend the Womin Djeka Festival. This Festival will be held on Saturday 25th March at the Emu Plains Reserve Coolart Road, Balnarring. 

St Joseph’s will have a stall showcasing our wonderful school and our connection to the Boon Wurrung People and the natural environment. Be sure to visit the stall to see the students’ wonderful creations and collaborative artwork of Bundjil!
