Previously I taught Specialist Maths, Maths Methods and Physics at St Mary's Coptic Orthodox College. I was also Year 9/10 Coordinator and ran the school Chess Club.

I am a keen tennis player, I love to read and love to play with my kids.

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?

This year I will be teaching Year 9 English and History/Geography.

I am excited about investing in students' learning and encouraging them to have the courage to grow and overcome challenges.

What did you do previously?

I have been a part of the BHCS community for the past four years as a casual relief teacher, whilst also raising my daughter who starts 3 year old kinder this year.

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing board games, drinking coffee, listening to music and cooking.

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?

This year I will be filling a role more or less still in its formative stages as chaplaincy/pastoral care trainee. Having finished Year 12 last year here at BHCS, I’m excited to be working with the staff I already have great relationships with, as well as hopefully utilising the opportunity to create and support the existing positive community.

What do you like to do for fun?

When a lot of people look at my schedule they get confused how I have time for myself but I like to think I’m not busy at all, they say do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. By that quote I’m under the impression I have the most amount of free time, filled with seeing people, building relationships, playing music in my band, attending church and working within the worship team, and my favourite, talking movies with customers at Cameo and volunteering on CYC holiday camps.

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?

I am a Learning Assistant for Year 5/6.  I am most excited about being able to help support the learning and growth of the amazing children at BHCS this year.

What did you do previously?

My background is in customer service and I am currently a volunteer as a Kids Church Assistant at our church - which is a lot of fun.

What do you like to do for fun?

Holidays and day trips with my family are very special to me.  I also enjoy gardening and spending time with my friends.

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?

I am totally excited to be serving as Marketing and Events Manager for BHCS this year. Still pinching myself that I get to share the stories of our school with the wider community. The calendar for 2020 is full of incredible opportunities to enjoy one another's company and also showcase who we are. I am most excited to serve alongside the stunningly talented staff here. They amaze me every day. Looking forward to friendship, growth and laughter as a community.

What did you do previously?

You may have seen my face around other areas of BHCS in recent years. I loved my time on the front desk in 2018, had a super-fun time with the amazing DC team in Term 4 of 2019, and I've enjoyed playing with the Events Team on occasion too! Before BHCS I managed various events and conferences, spent a few years serving on the pastoral team at Discovery Church, and earned my 'Event Manager' stripes about 100 years ago at Mountain District Christian School.

What do you like to do for fun?

Does working at BHCS count? Oh, you mean outside of school.... Laughing, playing games, hosting dinner parties, time with friends, planning holidays, sometimes actually taking the holidays, decorating my home, meeting new people....Life is full of fun.  (Ps. my office has two comfy chairs if anyone wants to visit!)

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about this year?
