State Member of Parliament for Ripon Martha Haylett is seeking submissions from students for her inaugural School Art Competition from local students.

Martha is calling on students to submit their best artwork showcasing the ‘natural wonders of our local community’, to be featured on the materials that she sends to members of the community. 

Get as creative as you like with this! Whether you paint a picture of a local landmark, draw the flowers in your backyard or fingerpaint your pet dog – Martha wants to see it all!

There are two categories: Prep to Grade 3 and Grade 4 to Grade 6. 

Two successful participants will be selected to be featured on Martha’s materials that she will send to our community, and all entrants will be featured on her website. 

If you’d like to enter your child’s artwork, families can speak to Dierdre Bleicher. 

Parents can also send the submission directly to Martha Haylett MP’s office via email: martha.haylett@parliament.vic.gov.au, or by mail to PO Box 175, Maryborough VIC 3465. 

Submissions will be accepted until Friday 19th May - when sending in a submission please include the child’s name, year level and school they attend.
