Capital Works Program

Since news of our construction lead going into voluntary administration, detailed discussions with the Department of Education have continued surrounding options for supporting additional teaching spaces while we wait for new builders to be appointed to continue our Capital Works Program.

Over the term break we saw the finalisation of remediation works to one of our classrooms (D7) that had been out of commission for some weeks due to water damage.  This has meant we've been able to re-timetable classes back into this room and alleviate pressure from using open-learning spaces in B-Block.

We hope to provide a more detailed update of the way forward with temporary arrangements for additional teaching spaces, as well as re-commencement of the longer-term works in the next edition of our newsletter.  We are continuing to advocate for our college to reduce the impact on our community.
