Languages Term 2

Term 2 is shaping up to be an exciting one for the Languages classes at the college.

Firstly, we had the pleasure of welcoming assistant language teacher, Ms. Natsuki Wada to the languages team. Natsuki is a recent university graduate from Kagoshima, Japan. She will be working with the Japanese staff and students, sharing her knowledge of both the language and culture.

On the 25th of May we will also welcome Gary Oliver and the Ballarat Kendo Club to the college. All Japanese students from year 7 to 11 will participate in a cultural workshop aimed at increasing their knowledge and understanding of martial arts in Japan and their place within modern Japanese society.

During Term 1, the Indonesian students participated in the annual Education Perfect World Championships. The college placed 77th out of 652 schools entered. Selamat!
