Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,

Our House Sports were held last Friday after our end of term Whole School Mass. Both of these were fabulous events and I thank all who lead and participated in them as well as the families who joined us for them. The PNF Disco last Friday sounds like a tremendous success where a lot of fun was had. I thank the PNF for organising such a great event for our students and community to get together outside of the normal school day.

Today we have journeyed together through the Stations of the Cross. Thanks for those who organised this, in particular Mrs Winduss, who helped lead it and for the families who joined us as we travelled this in remembrance together.

During the holidays we wish one of our Foundation teachers Miss Dani Wells all the best for her marriage to her partner Kevin. When Miss Wells return we will have to get used to calling her Mrs Coulson. Congratulations to you both!

Next term will commence on Monday 24th April and we will have our traditional Alleluia Day when we celebrate the risen Christ. Part of this will be our Eastern Bonnet Parade. Tuesday will be Anzac Day and on the Wednesday we will share a Liturgy together as we commemorate our Anzacs. On Wednesday evening there will be a Preparation Evening for families of students receiving their First Communion in the Church at 6.30pm. Friday the 28th April will be our School Photo Day. Please make sure to dress the children in Summer Uniform.

May the joy of Easter be with you as we end Term 1.

Rod Shaw

Principal
