RICE  HOUSE  DAY

Rice House Day – Monday May 8

Each House will have a day of celebration this year to promote house spirit and to build the profile of their four namesakes – Edmund Rice, Catherine McAuley, Mary Glowrey, and Mary MacKillop.

The first House to celebrate will be Rice on Monday, May 8. The day will unfold as follows:

Homeroom + the first 10-20 minutes of Lesson 1:

• Students in Rice will gather in the Jubilee Auditorium for a house homeroom and short liturgy led by the House Captains.
• Once this is over, they will go to their Lesson 1 class.

Break 1:

• House Captains and other Year 12 Student Leaders, and staff will run activities on the oval for all Rice House students. Other students are to remain off the oval.

Uniform:

• On these house celebration days, those students in that house can wear their PE uniform and a touch of their house colour (headband/ribbon/bracelet, scarf, hat/wig, earrings).
