From the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,
A warm welcome to all families to Term 2. I hope that the school holiday period has been a welcomed change of pace for you and your children.
The school term ahead is the shortest of the year however, we have many activities planned, so it is sure to be fun-filled, informative and community-minded.
Anzac Day
Yesterday, we as a nation paused to honour and acknowledge the sacrifice and dedication of our service men and women in representing and protecting Australia’s national interests.
On this day, we remember military personnel that have died, have served and are currently serving in Australia’s defence forces.
To assist with talking about the significance of Anzac Day and the themes associated with it, this short animated clip may help with the conversation in your family.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

2024 Prep Enrollments - Siblings
This is a reminder that families with a child starting in Prep in 2024 must fill out an enrolment form as soon as possible. This will assist with our planning and organisation for the 2024 school year.
This year we have transitioned to a digital enrolment form workflow, which can be accessed by clicking here or visiting the school website by clicking Apply Now. All supporting documentation, including birth and immunisation records, can be uploaded through this new workflow. If you have any questions, please get in touch with the school office.
School Closure Day - Monday 22nd May
Please note that Monday, 22nd May, will be a school closure day to allow staff to continue the planning and implementing our Positive Behaviour for Learning Program. This time will also be used for staff to complete refresher CPR and Management of Anaphylaxis training courses.
Beyond Edu Care will have a pupil-free care program available to families who require care of their children on this day.
Tom on Long Service Leave
Finally, I will be on long service leave from Wednesday, 26th April and will return to work on Monday, 8th May. During my absence, Deputy Principals Hedy Carvalho and Monica Rayner will very capably lead the school.
God bless,
