West Beach Primary School Student Leadership

At West Beach Primary School, we provide many opportunities for students to develop leadership skills. Through formal class meetings, buddy cross-age programs and specific leadership roles, students develop responsibility and contribute to many aspects of school culture.

At West Beach Primary School, we have our School Leaders and House Leaders and a large number of students apply to take on explicit leadership roles across the school in the following areas: Performing Arts, STEM, JP Buddies.

School Leaders

As the most significant student leaders in the school, School Leaders are expected to be ambassadors who embody the school values which are Responsibility, Respect, Excellence and Creativity. They work with the leadership team and other staff to promote our values and display school pride by organising events and showcasing the achievements of the students in our school.

Bright Jumper Project.

A few weeks ago, the School Leaders met up with Bia, a parent from our school community to find out about the not for profit charity Bright Jumper Project.

We felt inspired by the information Bia shared with us and decided that we wanted to work together with our school community to support this charity. Please see below the letter we recently sent out to families about our plans to support Bright Jumper Project.

Thank you.
