Hello Brunswick Nth West community!
I am so looking forward to seeing all the beautiful faces and feeling all the magical energy of our students next week! Sprout will up and running with a full menu, so please take a look if you haven’t already done so and re-familiarise with prices, snacks and lunch offers. As you will see we are making Take Home Meals on both a Monday and Tuesday, I will advise of what these are in each newsletter, Monday 12th is Pasta e Fagioli brought to you by the lovely Stacey. Tuesday will be Chickpea and Cauliflower Curry (Roti available). Pick up is from Sprout between 3pm and 3.20pm, eftpos only, $15 per litre container (Roti $10 for 5 pieces).

Owe are also very excited that our casual educators are already back and they are now under training for the new hygiene and cleaning protocols. It has been more than 6 months since pandemic effected all of us, especially our casual crew. Welcome back everyone!
Enrolment Confirmation
During the Victorian Stage 3 and 4 restrictions you had access to increased absences to allow you to retain your enrolment at our service while children could not physically attend care.
We are now seeking confirmation that you intend to maintain your enrolment and return your children to care at our service.
If you wish to end your enrolment with our service, please contact us by next Wednesday (14 October), so we can cease your enrolment and avoid unintended financial penalties.
If you wish to continue the enrolment of your child(ren) at this service, please contact us to advise when you expect your children will return to care.
Permanent Bookings
If you need to access to Before or After School Care you will need to log in into QKenrol and check you Current Bookings.
If you need to change your bookings or make a new request, please read the following instructions:
- Go to Current Bookings
- Click on edit
- Make a new request and follow the prompts
- You will receive an Offer email and you must accept the offer in order to activate your bookings.
Please Note: if you do not accept the Offer email, your bookings will not be confirmed and your children will not be on the roll.
Casual Bookings
Casual bookings are available on My Family Lounge. Please make sure to select the right roll, for example Before School Care Roll, After School Foundies, After School Juniors, After School Middles&Seniors.
Marking Absences
If you know that your child is absent you must mark their absences through MFL by 6pm the morning session or by 9:30 for the afternoon session.
Medical Plan and Medications
If your child’ s medical plan or medication is expired you will be notified and you will need to provide an updated plan or new medication.

COVID-19 Practices at OSHC:
To minimise the risk of COVID-19 spread, here at OSHC, we have been very diligent to follow our COVID-19 Control Spread Checklist. We’ve even created some tutorial videos for our casual crew on how to effectively carry out the daily cleaning and disinfecting practices:
From the Program:
In. this first week here ta OSHC we have been busy:
- Naarah spolit our students with some vegan pancakes in the morning and they were just delicious!
- Cooking Club: students loved making jam drops buscuits!
- Earing making was another success and students are getting better and more creative!
- Sewing club is still on with Bev
- Also, our magpies pet are coming for a quick visit every morning
