A Prayer for Father’s Day

Gracious God, 

Bless fathers and all father figures with such love and faithfulness that children flourish and grow in uprightness and joy.  We give thanks and praise for their love and support each and every day.  May they find courage and perseverance in balancing work, family and faith.  We remember fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memories.

Amen.
