Woodwork and Visual Communication Design

Year 8 Visual Communication Design

Students made many wonderful designs trialling Design Elements (e.g. point, line, shape, forms, tone, colour, texture & type) with Design Principles (e.g. balance, contrast, cropping, figure-ground, pattern, scale, proportion and hierarchy) using the Design Process. I thank them all for creative efforts.

Years 7 & 8 Woodwork

Students started superb house plans. They developed splendid hand drawn, digital plans and cardboard models which were excellently executed. Then they were given the opportunity to develop a model of their interest. Their skills, abilities and creativity were terrific.
