School Tour

It was exciting to have our first school tour during the school day since Covid. All thirty places were taken so we had a full house of keen participants of parents and prospective students. 

Our Principal Robin Chand lead the group to the library where our Librarian Ms Chami showed the parents the many aspects of the library and Ms Andrews, our Head Teacher of Wellbeing covered the ways in which Killara High School supports the wellbeing of all our students. Robin Chand outlined some of the advantages of being a student in a large school. 

Mr Chand and Ms Johnson, Deputy Principal, then led the group through the school finishing in K Block. The group then heard from two of our Prefects, Lama and Leroy about life at Killara High from a student’s perspective. There were lots of questions from the parents who were keen to address a range of issues particular to their own student.

This was a successful return to tours during school hours. We have another four tours scheduled for this term.
