Social Skills

Each Friday, the Year Ones endeavour to go outside for some activity. We have been focusing on different social skills such as team work, turn taking, helping others, celebrating others, sharing etc. Last week, the children created an extremely long hopscotch to the number 50! We also had a go at taking turns skipping into a long skipping rope and practising elastics.

 Maths

In Maths, students have been working together to explore the Days of the Week and Months of the Year. They also learnt a ‘knuckle trick’ to remember how many days are in each month.
